Artists in Residence: The Royal Chief

Episode 2

Flatland’s new video series, “Artists In Residence,” takes a look at how local artists are coping with the Kansas City area’s new reality during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Hosted by Flatland’s Creative Arts Producer Brad Austin, “Artists in Residence” offers a different perspective on how artists are using time during the stay-at-home order creatively.

Today’s installment features the aptly named recording artist, The Royal Chief, who recently released a new EP entitled “Groundwork.” See and hear more about Kansas Citian Jamel Thompson’s art in the attached video.
