Kansas City filmmaker Morgan Cooper dropped by “Art House” recently to discuss upcoming projects and his creative process. While he was in our studios, he shared the following review of Ernest Dickerson’s 1992 film “Juice.”

Dickerson had a huge impact on Cooper, who says in the attached video that “Juice” is his “North Star…of pure film making.” The movie, starring Omar Epps and Tupac Shakur, closely follows a week in the lives of four teenagers growing up in Harlem.

“Juice” just might satisfy your thirst for a great movie to help fill the coming weekend of stay-at-home social distancing.
