Valentine’s Day is this weekend, and if you’re reading this, beer is definitely on the menu. Whether you’re single or taken, it’s important to honor the primordial connection with our favorite fermented beverage. It’s a love story as old as time, and Flatland has got your back!

Tap News

Boulevard Brewing Co. has teamed up with Paramount Pictures to offer an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles to watch “A Quiet Place: Part II”.

Teasers for the film’s upcoming release are featured on boxes of canned Boulevard Tank 7 (8.5% ABV, 38 IBU).

“A Quiet Place,” which premiered in the U.S. on April 6, 2018, has grossed $188 million since its initial release. The highly anticipated follow-up is expected to gross $70 million on its opening weekend March 20.

This isn’t the first time Boulevard has teamed up with a major motion picture company. Back in 2019, Boulevard partnered with 20th Century Fox to announce the release of “X-men: Dark Phoenix”. The announcement of the release was featured on Boulevard’s Space Camper Cosmic IPA (5.9% ABV, 30 IBU).

Tap Notes

Torn Label Brewing Co.’s Alpha Pale Ale (5.6% ABV, 80 IBU) is a hopped up pale ale. Brewed with Northwest hops, this beer has a strong tangerine scent, and is jam-packed with a barrage of flavors including grapefruit and honey.

Boulevard Brewing Co.’s The Calling (8.5% ABV, 75 IBU) is a double India pale ale with a strong apricot scent and notes of floral hops, pine and lemon. This highly drinkable IPA is perfect for ringing in spring.

Public House Brewing Co.’s Cabra Loca is a delicious espresso milk stout (7% ABV, 22 IBU) brewed with cayenne, cocoa and cinnamon. It has notes of dark chocolate on the front end followed by hints of cayenne pepper on the back end.

OK, so this may be cheating, since mead is sometimes classified as a wine, but this primordial brew was way too good to pass up. Pirtle Winery’s Honey Mead (12% ABV) is an ode to Valhalla, brewed with the finest orange blossom honey in Weston, Missouri. This delicious mead carries notes of honey, green grapes and lemons.
